[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2007-09-19 Summary: Great sounding small speaker ... I bought 4 of them to use as side and rear surrounds in a 7.1 setup in a large 20x20 room. I haven't set them up yet in the large room because it's under construction but I have compared these speakers side by side to my existing Energy XL:16 bookshelf speakers (6.5" 2-ways) and when used with a subwoofer they are of comparable sound quality. Obviously they don't have as much bass but that isn't really expected in a small speaker. Overall I am impressed by the sound of these little speakers. I am happy with my purchase. ...more

What a fabulous set of speakers - mid range is bold, high's sparkle, and the sub is a very tight slam! This is the perfect set for my Sony STR-DG920 Receiver and BDPS-550 Blu-Ray Disc Player. I just finished setting them up and watched The Dark Knight. I will be ordering 2 more for true HD 7.1 capabilities in the very near future! You will be amazed by the sound these produce. The highs are bright and crisp and the mids come through clearly and cleanly; even the lows have a full, rich sound to them.
